What should we be writing about?
Most of what is on this site began with someone caring about something. If a cause matters to you and we have not covered it, tell us. We will ask a volunteer to research it and write about it, and every organization they find gets a direct link from us.
What helps most
- Why it matters to you. Passion is the part we cannot research, and it is usually what makes an article worth reading.
- Who is already working on it. If you know organizations doing something about it, name them. If you do not, that is fine. Finding them is the job.
- Anything we can read. A report, a news story, a project page. Somewhere for a volunteer to start.
To be clear about where the line sits. We do check the basics before we write: that the cause is real, that the organization exists, and that it is doing what it says it does. What we do not do is audit finances, score organizations or verify impact claims. Circle Acts is not a charity evaluator. Confirming an organization's current registration before giving is still worth a reader's five minutes, and we say where to do it.
